Welcome to Kinkead Shipping & Logistics. By using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

Acceptance of Terms

By engaging the services of Kinkead Shipping & Logistics (“the Company”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all customers using our freight, shipping, and logistics services.

Services Provided

Kinkead Shipping & Logistics provides:

International shipping and freight forwarding
Package consolidation
Customs clearance assistance
Local delivery and pickup services

We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

Provide accurate and complete shipment information
Ensure items shipped are lawful and compliant with Jamaican and international regulations
Pay all applicable shipping, customs duties, taxes, and service fees
Present valid identification when collecting packages

Failure to comply may result in delays, penalties, or refusal of service.

Prohibited Items

The Company does not ship or handle:

Illegal drugs or controlled substances
Firearms, ammunition, or explosives
Hazardous materials
Perishable goods (unless pre-approved)
Counterfeit goods
Any items prohibited by Jamaican Customs or international shipping laws

If prohibited goods are discovered, the Company reserves the right to report such items to the relevant authorities.

Shipping Fees & Payments

All shipping charges must be paid in full before delivery or release of packages.
Storage fees may apply for packages not collected within fourteen (14) days of arrival.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Customs Duties & Taxes

Customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and government fees. Kinkead Shipping & Logistics is not responsible for customs delays or additional charges imposed by authorities.

Liability & Insurance

The Company is not responsible for delays caused by weather, airline/shipping carrier issues, customs inspections, or circumstances beyond our control.
We are not liable for damage to items not properly packaged by the sender.
Claims for lost or damaged packages must be made within two (2) days of delivery.
Insurance coverage is limited to the carrier’s declared value unless additional insurance is purchased.

Lost or Damaged Items

In the event of loss or damage:

Customers must provide proof of value (receipt/invoice).
Compensation will be processed in accordance with carrier policies and declared value.
The Company is not responsible for manufacturer defects or concealed damage.

Package Abandonment

Packages not collected within one month may be considered abandoned. The Company reserves the right to dispose of or auction such items to recover storage costs.

Amendments

Kinkead Shipping & Logistics reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted and effective immediately.
